Lost and Found is a response to Overboard, an earlier project. After moving from Ohio to Texas in the middle of the pandemic, I found myself secluded and surrounded by strange terrain and locations that I had never experienced. This body of work largely focuses on my experiences with what I call “meditation walks.” I began wandering off the beaten path into new places and finding different hidden treasures, while reflecting on the self. I often tried to find connections between the landscape and the complexity of the emotions that I felt while trying to make the unfamiliar region of the United States.
